The photovoltaic terminal connecting wire is a very common wire used in the production of electronic and electrical products. The most commonly used conductor in the wire for transmitting electrical signals is copper. There are three types of conductors in the current industry: solid conductors, stranded conductors, and braided conductors.
PV Terminal Connection Wire Solid Conductor: Use solid (single-strand) conductors where there is little wire and cable snagging and no flexing required. Its advantage is its low cost compared to the equivalent stranded wire.
Stranded conductors: Stranded conductors of photovoltaic terminal connecting wires are used in most wires and cables to provide better flexibility and longer flex life. From a practical point of view, stranded conductors have a longer service life than solid conductors.
Braided conductors: Flat or round (tubular) braided conductors are also sometimes used in certain applications where they are more suitable than round solid or stranded cables. Braided conductors have little insulation because the insulation prevents high deflection and the ability to stretch slightly in length due to axial push and pull of the cable.
