Generally, there are two methods to test the quality of new energy circular terminal in the laboratory: voltage drop test and temperature rise test.
The voltage drop test can be used to determine the resistance of the connection point. It reflects the quality of the original clamping point when the wire is first connected and used under conditions of vibration, temperature cycling and corrosion. The temperature rise test is also a reaction of connecting resistance. It allows the complete set of terminal blocks to be inspected under standard current, high current and short circuit conditions.
When working for a long time, especially when the temperature changes, the pressure drop of the contact will change greatly. Heating and cooling cause the contacts to expand and contract, thereby changing the contact pressure and deforming the wire. If this is not compensated (i.e. tightening the screw), there will be an elevated voltage drop at the contact which will eventually block the signal or cause arcing. The cage spring clamp can be automatically adjusted according to the type and thickness of the wire.
