With the development of science and technology, the design of isolation terminals is becoming more and more miniaturized, and the purpose of miniaturization is to occupy less space. Of course, users should be allowed to install densely, and there is a heat dissipation problem in dense installation, so the internal power consumption must be reduced. Therefore, the value of internal power consumption should also be paid attention to when selecting.
Now there are many isolated terminals with CPU as the core on the market, with on-site programming and communication functions, high flexibility, which can reduce the number of inventories and the backlog of funds for customers. Isolation terminals with CPU as the core will surely become the mainstream in this field
There is another way to isolate the transmitter. The sensor and transmitter are integrated and must be placed in a designated location on site. At this time, the isolation terminal is generally placed in the cabinet of the central control room, and the isolation terminal in the cabinet distributes power to the field transmitter. Which one to use depends on the PLC interface.
During on-site debugging, the instrument and PLC interface may not match. The sending device is a four-wire transmitter with an output of 4-20mA, while the 4-20mA interface of the receiving end is a two-wire loop power supply mode. Direct connection will cause a power conflict. The solution is to use the isolation terminal to receive and isolate the 4-20mA on site, and install a special circuit in the output part of the isolation terminal to match the two-wire loop power supply interface mode of the PLC.
