1. Insulation lamination, type A (F crimp)
A. The crimp width and crimp height dimensions specified in the standard part drawing must be followed.
b. The crimp jaws must enter the insulation. The insulation can be pierced by the crimp jaws, but must not cause any damage to the strands.
2. Insulation lamination, type B (wrapped crimp)
A. When the wire diameter is the largest, the ends of the crimp sleeve must overlap a distance greater than or equal to the thickness of their material.
3. Insulation lamination, type C (overlapping crimp)
A. The crimp of the insulation must encompass at least 2/3 of the circumference of the cable. Insulation layers must be closed (overlapped). The insulation can be pierced by the crimp jaws, but must not damage the strands.
b. The test of insulating supports in crimp connections must meet DIN EN 60512-16-8 ("16-hour test").
Fourth, the position of the single-line sealing plug.
A. The insulating lamination splices must tightly wrap the single wire sealing plug over the entire length. The single wire sealing plug must not be damaged or pierced by the end of the crimp sleeve.
