Most electronic connector terminals require surface treatment, generally referred to as electroplating. There are two main reasons: one is to protect the terminal reed base material from corrosion; the other is to optimize the performance of the surface of the new energy circular terminal, establish and maintain the contact interface between the terminals, especially the film layer control.
1. Anti-corrosion: Most connector reeds are made of copper alloys, which usually corrode in the use environment, such as oxidation and vulcanization.
